ABOUT MEERSBROOK
Meersbrook Therapy is owned and managed by Lisa Bartley, a fully qualified and insured Veterinary Physiotherapist, Equine Sports Massage therapist and Human Sports Massage therapist.
Member of the Animal Health Professions Register (AHPR) and the Institute of Registered Veterinary & Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP).
Lisa works throughout the Midlands, visiting clients at their yards and homes as well as at her own equine rehabilitation yard in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
Lisa has always had a passion for animals - horses and dogs in particular - and her love of animals remains central to her work as a Veterinary Physiotherapist today. Her work focuses on ensuring the highest standards of welfare for the animal. With a key interest in rehabilitation, Lisa works to ensure all of her client's animals have the best possible outcome from their treatment plans.
Lisa's work as a Human Sports Massage Therapist aims to help alleviate the pressures of everyday life, such as office work and playing sports. With a combination of sports massage therapy, rehabilitation and conditioning exercises, Lisa enables her clients to strengthen their bodies and feel better within themselves.
Lisa owns and manages Meersbrook Therapy and outside of work she enjoys looking after her dog, Oscar the Dachshund, and riding her three horses: Kalesh the Welsh Cob, Expresso the New Forest Pony and Bridget an Appaloosa x Arab.
Lisa has worked at a small animal veterinary practice and at The British Horse Society as a Team Leader in their Education team. With an extensive knowledge of both the equine and veterinary industries, Lisa transfers her skills to her clients, educating them in best practice when caring for their animals and themselves.
